Due to issues with the old website we have had to start afresh... Both a good and bad thing - we all have to re-register and there's nothing kept from the old site (real shame) but it means we've had a spring-clean and all the random-users, dodgy-code and unsupported software has gone too. I hope you can understand why this has happened and support us/me as I try and get this site up and running as quickly as possible.

Like the last site, you need to register to view the site (and may well incorporate a forum-access group so you have to register, say hi and then a mod will allow you access to the full forum - has been required in the past to combat spammers).

*edit* within 12 hours I've had to deal with 2 spammers so I fear I may have to go back to a 2-stage login:
1) register with site and post an initial "hi, I'm so and so from whatever"
2) an admin grants the user full forum access
I know this is a pain and delays the entire "time to post on forum" but at least it prevents/limits the site being filled with spam crap.

Depending when you read this the site may look pretty empty and basic, but here is my plan, to explain what is happening:
1) get bare-bones site up and running
2) get bare-bones mods installed
3) organize basic forum structure so users can all register and start posting about how much they're loving Planetside 2 beta (for the bar-stewards that are playing it)
4) Implement graphics and colour-scheme to suit us - ideally I'll try and create both a dark and light scheme to give everyone the option depending on their preference.
5) add more mods/add-ons depending on demand and feedback.

And, obviously this is all in the air and I may well have to go back to organizing the forum setup as we find the initial tree (and permissions) are all crap.

So, don't fret if you've just logged in to find a basic site with a generic theme - it's all in progress... hopefully...

Give me feedback as to what you want and whether there's any problems and I'll try to keep ontop of things...
